USES
Description

Massage therapists often tout Cumin essential oil as the secret ingredient of deep relaxation. With a peppery and rich aroma, Cumin can help enhance the benefits of a relaxing massage.

Dating back to early Mediterranean empires, Cumin has been used as a traditional Middle Eastern Spice and is one of the main ingredients of curry. Its seeds are used in the cuisines of many different cultures, in both whole and ground form.

Cumin is the dried seed of a green annual herb that has feathery leaves and small pink flowers. It is native to a wide region, from the east Mediterranean to India. The essential oil is extracted through steam distillation and is clear in color. Cumin blends wonderfully well with other oils that possess a spicy aroma. Use sparingly; it has a high odor intensity.
